I am 42 years old and happy to admitt I'm becoming obessessed by Supernatural and one Jensen Ackles, as well as the character he plays. I am loathed to admit though, it took awhile for Jensen and Supernatural to grow on me. I only caught snatches of the programme when it first aired in the UK in January 2006. I didn't know anything about Jensen or Jared, and found it difficult to relate to either character in the show (Dean/Sam) One was always whinning and the other, Dean, appeared to be so cocky, snarky
and self assured. 'Home' was the episode that sort of began to reel in..Dean in motel, vulnerable and afraid of going back to Lawrence. But then my hardend heart litterally broke when Dean made the unanswered tearful call for help on his mobile to Daddy Winchester at the gas station. My God, I was in shock...I realised Dean had feelings..the tears . He was the way he was as cover..to protect himself and his brother. Someone had to be strong...right? The way Jensen protrayed Dean in the scene blew me out of the water...so I started a journey to know more about Jensen Ackles the person, while disecting and trying to understand Dean the character. I've not been disappointed in either Jensen or Dean. Lastly, I could not forget Sam/Jared...I adore both the character and excitable lively outgoing person that Jared appears to be. Love the bond/chemistry they seem to have on and off screen. However, as adorable as Jared is, my spirit, soul, heart and body belongs to Jensen and Dean.
